How Much Does Israel Cost The Average American?

This was written in 2012 so you know the dollar amount is higher. While Congress is making seniors pay more to receive less, while our younger generation is finding it difficult to pay for a college education and for the average worker get by on their salary we send billions to countries that just want to fight with their neighbors. I for one am tired of all the war parties. Bring it back home. Let every country take care of itself. Let’s stop trying to be the World Policeman. Maybe if we let others along they might respect us a little more. Maybe, I’m not sure, no one can be sure. Spend our money in our country for our citizens.

Here is the report for 2012: http://thebilzerianreport.com/how-much-does-israel-cost-the-average-american/

We are forming a group to take one next yr. and are looking for 20-24 couples in the New Jersey, New York and New England area who would like to take the cruise with us. Time is important because the deals will be over in a few weeks. We will need to decide on the length and destination and date for the cruise. In addition to savings on individual rates for the cabin and possible air, there are extra discounts for groups and a few amenities added. Let me know and I will forward to you our client information form.

Stay Tuned: Making Changes

Over the past 8 years I have established many websites and blogs: My Insurance Wizard.Com, Jim’s senior news.Com, Helps2know.com and US Vets for Hire.Com. As much as I enjoy writing them and helping educate consumers I feel it is time for me to either close or sell them if someone wants them. As I have mentioned in the past I started back in school to understand the Travel and Tourism Industry because of our love to travel and research destinations. I am almost finished with my course and over the last month have opened a new company JAM Travel Planners L.L.C., researched and joined a Host Agency and opened a new website jamtravelplanners.com so individuals can start to dream and plan their new adventures and join our travel blog. I will be starting a Travel Club shortly so individuals will be able to find others with the same interests and maybe form small groups. My wife and I did a Royal Caribbean land tour and cruise to Alaska a few years back and loved it. We started in Fairbanks and had a reception meeting the people who were going to be on our tour. As we progressed on out tour it was great to see some from the group and we would always stop and chat to find out what they did and liked. The tour director was awesome and spent time with us telling us what was available and after finding out our capabilities would proceed to tell us what he felt we would enjoy. What he recommended was perfect for us and others who took the same excursions. With this in mind we decided to start our own Travel Agency specializing in Cruise and Tour vacations for individuals and groups. We plan on working with our clients in getting to know them and what their desires for travel are and in doing so will be able to connect our clients with similar interests so they can form a small group to get the most bang for their buck.
Please check out our new website: jamtravelplanners.com and let us know what you like or would like to do on vacation.

MY LAST TRIP TO THE GROCERY STORE‏

Yesterday I was at my local supermarket buying a large bag of dog chow for my loyal pet, Mac, the Wonder Dog and was in the check-out line when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog. (What did she think I have an elephant?)

So because I’m retired and have little to do, on impulse I told her that no, I didn’t have a dog, I was starting the dog chow diet again. I added that I probably shouldn’t, because I ended up in the hospital last time, but that I’d lost 50 pounds before I awakened in intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms.

I told her that it was essentially a Perfect Diet and that the way that it works is, to load your pants pockets with the Doggy Nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so it works well and I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in line was now enthralled with my story.) Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care, because the dog food poisoned me. I told her no, I stopped to pee on a fire hydrant and a car hit me.

I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was laughing so hard.

The supermarket won’t let me shop there anymore.

Better watch what you ask retired people. They have all the time in the world to think of crazy things to say.

Now this is a joke and not intended for anyone to try this and eat dog chow to lose weight. I received this from a friend and am still laughing. Hope you enjoy and it made you laugh.

You need to love us seniors. We come up with some funny stuff.

They said WHAT?

A friend of mine emailed me these yesterday since I am in the process of opening up a group travel agency. I could not keep them to myself…enjoy

THESE ARE ACTUAL COMPLAINTS RECEIVED BY “THOMAS COOK VACATIONS” FROM DISSATISFIED CUSTOMERS:
1. “I think it should be explained in the brochure that the local convenience store does not sell proper biscuits like custard creams or ginger nuts.”
2. “It’s lazy of the local shopkeepers in Puerto Vallarta to close in the afternoons. I often needed to buy things during ‘siesta’ time — this should be banned.”
3. “On my holiday to Goa in India, I was disgusted to find that almost every restaurant served curry. I don’t like spicy food.”
4. “We booked an excursion to a water park but no-one told us we had to bring our own swimsuits and towels. We assumed it would be included in the price.”
5. “The beach was too sandy. We had to clean everything when we returned to our room.”
6. “We found the sand was not like the sand in the brochure. Your brochure shows the sand as white but it was more yellow.”
7. “They should not allow topless sunbathing on the beach. It was very distracting for my husband who just wanted to relax.”
8. “No-one told us there would be fish in the water. The children were scared.”
9. “Although the brochure said that there was a fully equipped kitchen, there was no egg-slicer in the drawers.”
10. “We went on holiday to Spain and had a problem with the taxi drivers as they were all Spanish.”
11. “The roads were uneven and bumpy, so we could not read the local guide book during the bus ride to the resort. Because of this, we were unaware of many things that would have made our holiday more fun.”
12. “It took us nine hours to fly home from Jamaica to England. It took the Americans only three hours to get home. This seems unfair.”
13. “I compared the size of our one-bedroom suite to our friends’ three-bedroom and ours was significantly smaller.”
14. “The brochure stated: ‘No hairdressers at the resort.’ We’re trainee hairdressers and we think they knew and made us wait longer for service.”
15. “When we were in Spain, there were too many Spanish people there. The receptionist spoke Spanish, the food was Spanish. No one told us that there would be so many foreigners.”
16. “We had to line up outside to catch the boat and there was no air-conditioning.”
17. “It is your duty as a tour operator to advise us of noisy or unruly guests before we travel.”
18. “I was bitten by a mosquito. The brochure did not mention mosquitoes.”
19. “My fiancee and I requested twin-beds when we booked, but instead we were placed in a room with a king bed. We now hold you responsible and want to be re-reimbursed for the fact that I became pregnant. This would not have happened if you had put us in the room that we booked.”

Have a Million Dollar Day and may the best day of your past be the worst day of your future!

Opening Soon

Within the next few weeks I will be opening up our new Travel Agency so stay tuned for more information. I will be doing a lot of writings on my blog Heps2know.com. See you there.

Changes Coming

Changes coming. Over the past few years I have tried to have my blogs and websites be a source of education and helpfulness for various groups. I have decided to follow my dream to travel and will be redesigning this blog to fit that goal. I have enrolled in school to learn the travel and tourism industry and am in an accelerated program so I can complete the course in four to five months. I love cruising and will be specializing in that area. My background in sales and service will be a great asset to me in my preparation to serve my clients.
